Tennessee Quarter Horse Association hosted its last show of the season, the TQHA Circuit, on September 16-18, 2016 at the Miller Coliseum in Murfreesboro, Tenn. This three-day show offered classes ranging from Trail, Barrels, Poles, Halter, Western Pleasure, Reining, Equitation Over Fences, Working Hunter and Driving classes. The TQHA Circuit show brought in 620 competitors from Tennessee and all the way from Alabama, Arkansas, Indiana, Illinois, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North and South Carolina, and Virginia. Competitors ranged from beginner to novice to professional trainers showing in the open classes.

TQHA hosts seven shows a year, with two held in Murfreesboro, Tenn. This Region 7 show allowed competitors to gain points from four different judges: Sissy Anderson, John Briggs, Holly Hover, and Gretchen Mathis. These points will help competitors gain points for the coming World AQHA show in Houston, TX.

TQHA has existed since 1963. The goal of the TQHA is to help preserve, protect, and promote the Quarter Horse Breed. In addition to hosting horse shows, the organization offers educational clinics and trail rides. TQHA invites all who love and ride Quarter Horses to check out their website: Show results can be found at the AQHA website:
