Field Trials in the Mid-South


The handlers and dogs are all back home from their summer training in the northwest U.S. and Canada and field trials in the mid-south got started with a slew of trials in November and December and many more to come in February. Following are highlights of some of the field trials run in the mid-south. There will be much more about them in our February issue and the Field Trial Review.

The AFTCA National Amateur All Age Invitational ran at Ames Plantation in Grand Junction, TN on December 3, 2018. Breakaway was at 7:30 a.m. with judges David Williams and Gary McKibben.

Region 6 Amateur All-Age Championship
Started Thursday, December 6, 2018 at noon, running braces 1-4. Brace 5 started Friday morning at 8 a.m.

Buck-Tuck Qualifier
Started Dec. 11, 2018 at 8 a.m. at Hendrix Farms in Laws Hill, Mississippi.
