2007 PRCA Season To End Six Weeks Earlier The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association’s Board of Directors voted on Nov. 8 to establish a new cutoff date for the 2007 Rodeo Year, thus establishing a new starting date for the 2008 Rodeo Year. The decision was made to have the 2007 Rodeo Year cutoff date be September 30, 2007. Therefore, the following Rodeo Year would begin with any rodeo(s) beginning on or after, October 1. With the decision the 2007 season will run from Nov. 13, 2006 to September 30, 2007. The only rodeos that will be excluded from this cutoff date will include the Dodge Xtreme Bulls Finals and the Tour Championship event in Dallas. These events will count toward the 2007 standings.
