Germantown Charity Horse Show Successful by Kevin DeBusk Despite the United States Cavalry cancelling three days prior to opening and rain causing the cancellation of the Gamblers Choice, Germantown Charity Horse Show organizers were pleased with the show. The show was held June 5-9 at the Germantown Arena in Germantown, Tennessee. "Despite the rain the show must go on and that's what we did went on with the show," Germantown Charity Horse Show President David Cuicchi said. "We had a great turnout. The crowds were good during the week and Friday and Saturday nights we had the second best attendance in ten years. "We pride ourselves on our excellent footing so we can go on rain or shine. We only had to cancel one class and we merged it with one the next night." Germantown Charity Horse Show also added ten Spotted Horse classes this year. "We felt good about it," Cuicchi said. "This was the first year and without much advertising we were successful in getting some riders to come. We are going to work on it for next year. It added color to the show."
