Heather Boxx Woodstock-Cuba Saddle Club Queen And Club News Woodstock Saddle Club will start having fun shows Friday, April 5 at 7:30 p.m. We would like to invite all of you to come out and join us. A current year negative Coggins test is required. Point shows will begin Friday, May 3 and run through Friday, August 16. We will not meet May 24 and July 5. We will be hosting three NBHA shows this year and two SASCA shows. All of our club shows will be on Friday nights. All NBHA and SASCA shows will be on Saturday afternoon and evenings. This year's Woodstock-Cuba Saddle Club Queen is Heather Boxx. Heather, 16, is the daughter of James and Rhonda Holiman of Millington, Tenn. Before moving to Millington, she was home schooled. She was also training to become a mid-wife. This is Heather's first time to attend public school. She states she is enjoying it very much. She now plans on becoming an OB-GYN Doctor. She has been selected as a member of the National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine, meeting in Washington, D.C. Her hobbies include playing guitar, volleyball, beading and of course, riding horses. Our Princess this year is Emily McGroom, 5, the daughter of Wayne and Cindy McGroom. The McGrooms are also from the Millington, Tenn. area. Emily likes to read books and make up folk tales. She enjoys roller skating, playing with friends, fishing and helping her Mom in the Deli. She likes animals. She has a dog, two cats, and two ponies she helps care for. Her favorite place to go (after the horse show) is the zoo. For further information about the Woodstock Saddle Club, call Jodi Rodrigues at 388-7811, cell 484-0820 or Mary Boykin at 872-1493.
