Tunica Arena Announces Events Schedule The Tunica Arena & Exposition Center has announced its current schedule of events, said Roger Newman, the Arena's executive director. "We're hosting a wide range of livestock shows, team ropings, barrel races, paintball tournaments and other events this spring and summer," Newman said. "For the latest event information, please check our web site or call us. More events are being added all the time, so our schedule is subject to change." When completed this fall, the Arena will have a total of 606 livestock stalls and a new covered arena with seating for up to 500. The Arena is the largest indoor arena in Mississippi, with 48,000 square feet of climate-controlled exhibit space on the main arena floor. Seating capacity is 6,000, with paved parking for 1,100 vehicles, plus 300 additional parking spaces and 50 RV spaces. The facility has 14 skyboxes, full-service banquet facilities, two outdoor arenas and an adjacent pavilion with an additional 100,000 square feet of exposition area. Located at 3873 U.S. Highway 61 North, the Arena is owned and managed by Tunica County, Mississippi, and operated by the Tunica County Arena & Exposition Center, Inc., a Mississippi not-for-profit corporation.
