Ford Joins AQHA Ford, the best-selling brand of cars and trucks for 15 years running, is now the newest corporate partner for the American Quarter Horse Association. Ford Motor Company of Dearborn, Mich. has officially announced its partnership with the largest single-breed equine association in the world. It's a partnership that will benefit all AQHA Members. As part of the new agreement, Ford Motor Company will provide a $500 purchase incentive toward any Ford car, truck or SUV except Special Editions. That means AQHA Members can visit their Ford dealers, work their best deal on a vehicle, show their membership card and receive an additional $500 off the purchase price. "Many of our Members are Ford enthusiasts and use Ford trucks in their American Quarter Horse activities," said Bill Brewer, AQHA Executive Vice President. "This partnership coincides with Ford's 100th Anniversary-which enhances AQHA's mission of providing the best member benefits and a proven product." About the Partnership Ford Motor Company will sponsor the American Quarter Horse Association and American Quarter Horse Youth Association's World Championship Shows; sponsor the Ford Distaff Challenge, a race featured in the MBNA America® Racing Challenge and contribute annually to the American Quarter Horse Foundation Scholarship Fund. The company also will sponsor "America's Horse" on OLN, the only television show dedicated to the American Quarter Horse and be featured in AQHA's three publications. AQHA's seven Regional Representatives, in recognition of the partnership, will now be driving Ford F-250 4x4 3/4 ton Super-Duty 4-door trucks.
