Celebration Box Seat Project Near Conclusion
The construction phase of the new east-side box seat project at The Celebration Grounds in Shelbyville, TN is nearing a completion. Final cosmetic touches are being added with the entire project set for completion in plenty of time for the opening night of the 65th Annual Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration on August 20th.
The new construction will replace all the reserved seats on the east side of the Celebration arena with 348 new boxes that will total 2,090 seats. The new boxes sold out in less than two weeks.
"Weather and painting delays have resulted in extending the construction deadline past our target date," said Celebration board member Charles McDonald. "But representatives of Lee Adcock Construction Company assure us they will be finished in plenty of time for application of the box seat numbers and other required signage."
"Folks should not be surprised if they see the main Celebration arena lights burning some nights as construction crews work to have the project completed in time for the 65th anniversary event," McDonald continued.
"This is a big step in answering the wants and needs of our customers," said Celebration CEO Ron Thomas. "Customer service is a top priority here and we are happy to know that we've met those wants and needs."
Although box seat tickets are sold out for The Celebration, reserved and general admission seats are available by calling 931-684-5915, ext. 109. Other information about The Celebration can be seen at www.twhnc.com.
