Turkey Trot Dressage Show

Georgia in the leg yield with Ila Handy
Mid-South Dressage Academy, Hernando, MS, hosted its last USDF/USEF recognized show of the season on November 23-24, appropriately themed the Turkey Trot Dressage show. Judge Jeanne McDonald “S” rated nearly 100 rides over the 2-day show.

As might be expected, Training and First Level tests were the most attended. However, the Prix St. Georges drew four riders, and Grand Prix drew two. Scores for the first rides in Prix St. Georges saw Nancy Sobba leading the way on Regina, with Megan Pifer on Monaco only 0.395% points away. Alexandra Du Celliee Muller and Rodin were third, with Marsha Tucker and Velvet fourth.

In the second rides in Prix St. Georges, Megan Pifer and Monaco led, followed by Nancy Sobba on Regina, Lexandra Du Celliee Muller on Rodin third, and Tina Cimino West fourth on Dressed To Thrill.

In Grand Prix, Shannon Betts had the top score on Crimson N Color, followed closely by Karen Raber on Silvester.
The USDF/FEI Freestyle Test of Choice winner was Jana Nelson on Remington.

Full results of the show are posted on the Mid-South Horse Review website.
