About Elaina: Since becoming a team only four months ago, Elaina and her grandfather's horse WRS Cool Memories have been making a name for themselves in the barrel horse world. The pair have had numerous wins at BBR shows, and even won a round with the fastest time at the NBHA Youth World Championships in Perry, GA. Elaina's father, Rick McKinney, says she is also straight A student. The family plans to hauling the team to more barrel races this year, including traveling to Cloverdale, Indiana for the IBRA World Championships, and to the NBHA World Championships in Perry, Georgia. Elaina also competes in the 1D with her other horse, Driftin Shirley.
Six-year-old, Cool Memories, a son of Royal Quick Dash, is owned and trained by Elaina's grandfather, Bob McKinney. Last year Bob, 78, was the reserve National IBRA Champion aboard the gelding.
