The Dixie National Equestrians With Disabilities Show

Photos by Sally Blackwell Photography

Jackson, MS. February 7, 2020. The 31st annual Dixie Nationals Equestrians With Disabilities (EWD) horse show was held February 4 - 5, 2020 at the “Mac Haik” Kirk Fordice Equine Center on the Mississippi State Fairgrounds in Jackson, MS. The EWD Show was a booming success and was the largest event to date with 568 entries. There were exhibitors from Illinois, North Carolina, Missouri, Arkansas, Texas, and Mississippi.

The Dixie National EWD Show is one of largest events of its kind in the country. This event is sponsored by the Mississippi Quarter Horse Youth Association and is run solely by volunteers. The judges, ring stewards, show manager, show secretary, announcers, awards presenters, photographer, and all other personnel necessary for running this event all graciously donated their time and services.

The queens are Miss Rodeo America Jordan Tierney of South Dakota, as well as our very own 2020 Dixie National Queens
