Dressage is a horse sport not usually associated with riding in inclement weather. But on Saturday October 10, 2020, riders braved plentiful rain all day from the remnants of Hurricane Delta to ride their dressage tests before Judge Jenni Hogan at Goodman Equestrian Facility in Lynnville, Tennessee. The Central Tennessee Dressage Association (CTDA) schooling show had a full day with 77 rides, running from 8 am to after 5 pm. The show offered traditional Dressage from Intro to Third Level as well as Western and Gaited Dressage.
This would be the next-to-last in-person CTDA schooling show of the season, finishing on November 7 with an in-person schooling show at Clearview Horse Farm in Shelbyville, Tenn. Greystone offered a virtual schooling show on October 24.
High Point winners at the show were: Erin Carson (YR) riding Onyx; Elizabeth Zuelke (AA) and Andy Dufresne; and Scot MacGregor (Open) with Twilight Stardust and Ovations for Ozzy. The winner of the Sherry Pride Schooling Show Award was Jeanette Haislip, riding Henning.
