Down the Centerline

By Tricia Miles, Long Vue Stables

Centerline Show Series held their first show on August 14, 2021 at the Tri-State Exhibition Center in McDonald, Tenn. The show ran 40 dressage tests, and jumping tests including cross rails, puddle jumpers (2 ft.), low jumpers (2’11”), high jumpers (3’3”) and combined test jumping for Beginner Novice and Pre Amoeba (12 in.). Thank you to Dressage/WDAA recognized Judge Donna Richardson and to Jump Judge Mackensie Jabaley for their expertise in judging the show.

The Combined Test offered classes Prix Caprilli, USDF Dressage, Western Dressage, and a Jumping test.  Rosettes and cash prizes were awarded to Grand Champion, Reserve Grand Champion, and Jumping winner.  A Rosette was presented to the Prix Caprilli winner.

Graysen Morris won Grand Champion and also took home the Pre Caprilli award. Reserve Grand Champion was Ava Gilliam and Jumping winner was Jackalyn Easley.

Riders can accumulate Centerline Show Series points at each show for year-end awards at the end of the show season. Find out more about Centerline Show Series on Facebook. See photos from the show at Cait Russell Photography.
The next Centerline show is November 7, 2021 at Tri-State Exhibition Center, McDonald, Tenn.
