Flight Line Dressage Shows came to Blytheville, Arkansas over Halloween weekend, October 30-31, for their third in a series of four 2021 Dressage Shows. Meris Greges (r) was the judge;Andrea Davenport, show manager. The show offered 14 classes ranging from training, first, and second levels and USDF Freestyle and Material, attracting nine riders and 13 horses for the two-day show.

Andrea Davenport explained the move to Arkansas: “The vast majority of the Flight Line shows are held in underserved areas such as Blytheville. We do our best to make dressage accessible to a wide range of competitors throughout the country in a fun and inviting atmosphere. We very often have first time competitors and those more experienced riders who are returning to the sport after time away. We like for our shows to be a quality experience, with an ‘at home; feel. We do shows everywhere from the Arkansas delta to the Mississippi coast, as well as central Alabama and Tennessee, the Florida panhandle and the mountains of West Virginia, and we are always looking to expand.”

High Point Jr/YR was Eleanor McClain and her Canadian Warmblood Cross mare “Abbigael” with a 70.172% in Training Level Test 3. They were also the High Point USEA member, and received an award sponsored by Memphis Eventing.

The high point Adult Amateur rider was Cheryl Peterson and her Norwegian Fjord gelding Bjorn VI with a 65.962% in the NDPC Test of Choice class, also making them the high point pony.

The high point open rider was Hayley Baker and “E-ros” owned by Maggie Tifft, who received a 66.548% in second level test 3, earning them the high point KWPN award.

Lindsay Collins and her Hanoverian gelding “Henry” were the high point freestyle with a 68.567%, riding to the “Ghostbusters” theme music.
