The Tennessee Walking Horse Museum Move Proclaimed A Great Decision Officials of the Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration are pleased with the Tennessee Walking Horse Museum's move to historic Lynchburg, Tennessee. Since the museum's tie in with the famous Jack Daniel's Distillery, 3,345 visitors, who might have never been exposed to the Tennessee Walking Horse, have toured the beautiful facility. "We couldn't be more pleased with the number of tourists who have visited the museum since its move to Lynchburg in May," said Bob Garner, chairman of the Celebration's board of directors. "The museum was expensive and very professionally done. It was just too beautiful, as well as informative, not to be seen by more visitors." The museum's move to Lynchburg and the tie-in with Jack Daniel and the Lynchburg/Moore County Chamber of Commerce is a positive sign of promoting tourism in Tennessee. Garner said, "By joining hands with neighboring counties, more visitors will come to our area. Hopefully, those visitors will return again and again."
