Miss Rodeo Tennessee 2002 Pageant Seeking Entries Tennessee cowgirls interested in promoting the sport of rodeo are encouraged to enter the 2002 Miss Rodeo Tennessee Pageant, scheduled for Saturday, October 20 in Millington, Tenn. Deadline for entry is September 15. Contestants are judged in the major categories of horsemanship, personality and appearance. Judges will review each competitor as they demonstrate their skills in horsemanship, personal interviewing, impromptu speaking, public speaking, modeling, rodeo and horse knowledge. To be eligible, contestants must reside in Tennessee, be between the ages of 18 and 23, never married and have no children,.Excellent horsemanship skills are required. Miss Rodeo Tennessee 2002 will receive a trophy buckle, trophy saddle and many other prizes. She will promote the sport of rodeo for one year and represent Tennessee in the 2003 Miss Rodeo America Pageant in Las Vegas. Since 1967, Miss Rodeo Tennessee Pageant has operated as a non-profit organization affiliated with the Miss Rodeo America Pageant and the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association.
