Loretta Lynn 20th Bi-Annual Trail Rides This year Loretta Lynn Ranch is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Loretta Lynn Bi-annual Trail Ride. If your family is looking for a great trail ride vacation Loretta Lynn Trail Ride is the place to be. You can ride miles of trails on Loretta's 6,500 acre spread. over gently rolling hills and across crystal clear streams in the heartland of Tennessee. Loretta Lynn Ranch is now under new management and ranch manager, Alan Brutto, promises that all guests at the ride will have exciting trails, good grub and great entertainment for the whole family. Alan managed the ranch from 1985 until 1996 and Loretta recently ask Alan to resume his position as general manager of the facility. Loretta Lynn Trail Ride Dates will be June 9th n 14th and September 8th n 13th. Loretta Lynn's Trail Ride begins at sunrise on Monday and ends at high noon on Saturday. All trail riders are served three meals Monday thru Friday and breakfast on Saturday. With Loretta's new chuck wagon menu, you're sure to walk away a tad tight in your jeans. There is plenty of time at Loretta Lynn's to swim at the pool or just relax along Hurricane Creek. For the more adventurous, canoe rentals are available or if you're the competitive type how about a game of horseshoes in the new pit area's. Paddle boats, bicycles and golf cart rentals are a great way to spend part of your leisure time here at the ranch. Tours through Loretta's Plantation Home, Simulated Coal Mine, Butcher Holler Home Place, and the new 18,000 square foot Coal Miner's Daughter Museum will be available at a discount rate to all Trail Riders. Like shopping? Be sure and stop by Loretta's Western Store and other Gift Shops located in Western Town, just a short gallop from camp. For your evening's pleasure, Loretta Lynn's has three nights of Country Music Dance Bands. So! Put on your best duds, grab your honey and dance till the cows come home. Other scheduled activities include Hay Rides and the Infamous Horseless Rodeo with roping competition's, feed sack races, tug of war and catalogue races. Don't forget Awards Night, Loretta Lynn's Trail Ride gives away a Western Pleasure Saddle at each ride in addition to five, ten, fifteen, and twenty year Belt Buckles. Want some more? This year the Bellamy Brothers will be in concert Saturday June 7th and Loretta Lynn will be performing Saturday September 6th before the trail rides begin. You won't want to miss both of these great performances! Trail riders are welcome to arrive early for both rides. Concert tickets may be ordered or purchased through the Loretta Lynn Ranch office. All trail riders coming in before the ride starts will receive a discount on camping rates. Loretta Lynn's has Log Cabin rentals, water and electrical hook-ups as well as primitive camping along beautiful Hurricane Creek.
