Tenth Annual Shrine Trail Ride Oct 17-19 At Natchez Trace S.P., Tenn. The tenth annual Shrine Trail Ride to support the Shriner's Hospital For Children will be held October 17, 18, and 19 at the Natchez State Park near Wildersville, Tenn. The yearly event is being hosted by the Al Chymia Shrine Mounted Patrol of Carroll County and Natchez Trace State Park. A ride donation of $8 per day and $15 for both days, will be asked. Children under 12 are half price if accompanied by a guardian. 78 campground sites will be available in the wrangler camp on a first-come basis at a rate of $17 per night. Free Fish Fry, hay ride and musical entertainment will be held on Friday night during the registration and check-in. Four rides are scheduled for Saturday. The all day ride will be led by Pollock Cupples. A slow pleasure ride will be led by Bobby Jordan and Seth McDaniel. Pleasure gaited horse ride will be led by Larry Spencer. And a fast gaited horse ride will by led by Darrel Douglas. An auction, BBQ dinner, and musical entertainment will be held on Saturday evening. After morning worship services, the same schedule of rides will be held on Sunday.
