Harvest Time Shows


West Tennessee Hunter Jumper Association (WTHJA) finished their 2012 show season at their A rated Harvest Time Show November 8-11, 2012 at the Germantown Charity Horse Show (GCHS) arena in Germantown, TN.

Cheryl Rubenstein on Casino is the year-end top scorer in the Performance 3’3” division, racking up 300 points at the Harvest Time show. Susan Laros leads first and second on Levonworth and Humm V, respectively, earning 276 points with Humm V at the Harvest Time show. Hunter’s Edge Stable’s Berkeley is the top horse in the Junior Hunters division. Emily Green earned 276 points on Oasis and Emily Joyner earned 366 points on Ramsey at the Harvest Time show in the Junior Division. In the Small Pony division, Audrey Muscari totaled 237 points at the Harvest Time show on Lucy Love to keep her top seeded position for the year. She earned another 401 points on Champlain Jane in Large Pony and 460 points on Champlain Jane in the Green Pony division, where is the year-end Champion. In Medium Pony, Jordan Rickets earned 215 points on Rollingwoods Cowboy Up at the Harvest Time show. In Adult Amateur 36-49, Mindy Wurzburg retained top billing for the year on Overseas with an additional 570 points at Harvest Time.

Cheryl Rubenstein finished a close second for the year in that division on Riesling, earning 460 points at Harvest Time. Rubenstein’s Riesling is the top horse for the year in Modified Child Adult, with an additional 476 points at Harvest Time. In Adult Amateur 50+ Camille McNeill retained her lead on Tuckahoe, with 470 points at Harvest Time. MegFord Shows completed their 2012 schooling show series November 16-17, 2012 at the GCHS arena. Pony Hunter Champion was Anna Marie Mayes on Blue Ridge Moon Beam. Rose Marie Lawson’s student Robin Young on Anderin’s To The Max, was reserve. Jason Schnelle’s student Sarah Morris was Champion in Open Hunter 2’3” – 2’6” on At Last. Jennifer Simmons’ students took the top two positions in the Open Hunter 3’ – 3’6” division: Abigail Sellers and Tee Time were Champion and Melanie Sutton on Kindred Spirit was Reserve. Poppy Doyle and her student were top winners in the Child Adult Amateur 2’9” division: Shanna Beyer was Champion on Another Grey Brother and Poppy was Reserve on Just My Luck. For year-end awards, the Leading Rider award, donated by Judy’s Tack Shop, goes to Megan Lebair with 142 points. The $1,000 WTHJA/ MedFord Shows high point trainer award goes to Beanie Cone.
