RODEO OF THE MID-SOUTH BRINGS OLD WEST ACTION AND FUNNYMAN LECILE HARRIS TO LANDERS CENTER, APRIL 12-13

Rodeo of the Mid-South will make a two-show run, April 12 – 13, 2013 at Landers Center in Southaven MS. The high-energy rodeo event will also feature the Mid-South’s Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame and five-time Rodeo Clown of the year, Lecile Harris, in performance at 7:30 pm Friday and Saturday.

Collierville, TN native Lecile Harris, also a Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame member, will bring his special brand of western funnyman wisecracks and comedy. A Master rodeo clown, his walk, talk and actions effuse comedy with creative, spontaneous talent. His ‘Lecile’ arena character blends magic, slapstick, and stand-up comedy that leave audiences wanting more.

Working more than 150 rodeo performances, Harris is also one of Rodeo of the Mid-South producers. Earlier in his career, he was a session drummer at Memphis famous Sun Studio and Hi Studios; was a featured regular on the TV series "Hee Haw;” and acted in movies, television, and commercials.

Advance tickets are on sale with adult starting at $12.00; children under age 12 are $5.00. Family 4-pack ticket deals start at $40. Discounts are available for military, firefighters and police with proper ID - at the box office only. Event day tickets are an additional $2 each. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover cards, and cash are accepted.
