WTQHA Spring Fling Show
The West Tennessee Quarter Horse Association 2015 show season got off to a successful start at the Tennessee Miller Coliseum (TMC) in Murfreesboro, TN April 10-12. Judges Tonya Green, Brad Kearns, Steve Meadows, Jennifer Leckey, Leonard Berryhill, Will Knabenshue had plenty of fine horses to evaluate, with over 200 entries. New at the 2015 shows is a $250 cash drawing at each show. Five lucky WTQHA members won $50 each at the Spring Fling show.
Three days of classes varied from Working Hunter, Western Pleasure, Halter, Trail, Jumping, Showmanship, Reining and much more. Gorgeous show horses came in from Arkansas, Kentucky, Mississippi, Georgia, Florida, Missouri, Illinois, and Indiana to the TMC facility. The enthusiastic competitors ranged from age 10 and all the way to 80 years young. Along the barn aisles show people gathered with their friends and horse show family.
The next WTQHA show will be at the Williamson County Ag Expo in Franklin, TN June 13-14. The Quarter Horses come to the Memphis Show Place Arena on July 24-26, the return to Franklin to wrap up the season August 29-30. Find show bills and more information on their website: http://www.wtqha.org/
