Northwest Mississippi Community College recently held the final rodeo of the collegiate season.
On April 27-28th, 10 collegiate rodeo teams from the Ozark Region came to Senatobia, MS, for the Northwest Mississippi Community College (NWMCC) rodeo. First year coach, Will Lummus, and his team hosted three full nights of rodeo for some of the best college rodeo action of the year. With this being the last rodeo of the season, it was the final chance for the top two teams and athletes to qualify for the College National Finals Rodeo (CNFR). Congratulations to bull rider Colby Burgess, who secured an overall 2nd place and will be representing the NWMCC team at the College National Finals this June in Casper, Wyoming.
